Allan Mussehl  1970-72

    In the 1970's when I went back the school had hired some really great younger teachers who really mixed well with some of the more "senior" group and one of the things I remember best is Sunday nights when Audrey and John Eyler would drive down from Stoughton and meet Lelland and Mary Skaggs, Dale and Lois Derouine, Al and Jean Scott, Herb and Ginny Crouch, Peggy Georgevitch and me and usually a bunch of students (many of the "freaks" who came to Milton with Skip Ramsey when Colorado Alpine College closed and they all transferred together) and we'd meet at the gym and play volleyball.  We were all so young then! We'd trade off after the game and go have coffee and cookies or lemonade at each others houses....we were poor, but unbelievably happy in those halcyon days.
